This Privacy Policy explains how Central Jersey Pest Control ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit centraljerseypestcontrol.com (the "Site") or send us a request through it. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out the inspection request form, we collect what you enter: the pest or service you choose, your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and, if you add them, your street address and a message. The form also records which page you sent it from and any campaign tags in the page address (such as utm_source), so we know how you found us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider receives standard technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies to identify you. The form also notes how long a page was open before it was sent, which helps us filter automated spam.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this Site.

How we use information

• To respond to your request, schedule an inspection, give you a quote, and provide the service you ask for.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email, as you authorize on the form.
• To keep records of requests and the work that follows.
• To filter spam and abuse, keep the Site working, and understand which pages are useful.
• To comply with law and protect our rights.

How we share information

Service providers who do or schedule the work. We may share your request, including your contact details, address, and description of the problem, with a local pest control service provider who performs or helps schedule the work you asked about. That provider uses it to contact you and to provide the service.

Vendors who help us run the Site. We use companies that host the Site, deliver email, and provide similar services. They handle information only to provide those services to us.

Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is needed to protect the rights, property, or well-being of our customers, the public, or us.

Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or transferred, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Phone calls and text messages

By submitting the form, you ask us to contact you about your request by phone, text, or email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts, and you can ask us at any time to stop calling or emailing you. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep information

We keep request and service records for as long as needed to respond to you, provide service, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes, and then delete or de-identify them.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limits on our accounts. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. If you live in New Jersey or another state whose privacy law applies to us, you may have additional rights under that law, and we will honor them as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

To make a request, send it through our request form and write "Privacy request" in the message box. We will confirm your identity by replying to the contact details you give.

Children

This Site is meant for adults arranging service for a home or business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to outside sources, such as government and university fact sheets. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Changes apply from that date forward.
